Maurer Woodshop not only builds kitchen cabinets and solid wood furniture, but we can also restore those cherished pieces of heirloom furniture, and make them look new again!
The chair below was part of an entire kitchen set that Maurer Woodshop repaired and restored to like new condition. This chair was falling apart, and one of the stretchers was broken. Maurer woodshop not only re-glued the chair, but turned a new piece on the lathe. Once it was stained to match, you couldn't pick out which piece was original, and which one was replaced!
The table below had a lot of water damage, not to mention, leaves that didn't really match. We were able to repair the damage, and add aprons to the leaves.

The piece below has a nice story. The owner loaned it to his friend 35 years ago, and eventually lost contact. It was his mother's buffett, and he said one of his earliest, fondest memories. As luck would have it, after 35 years, his friend looked him up on the internet and said he still had the buffett if he wanted it back! The buffett needed a lot of repair work and a complete restoration insided and out!

BEFORE AFTER BEFORE AFTER A customer called Maurer Woodshop and asked if her project was one we would even consider doing. She said that the other businesses she called were not interested in a project so small. We were able to help, and give new life to her patio furniture!
The Antique Secretary below was a fun project to bring back to life! As you can see in the before photo, it needed a lot of TLC to restore this amazing piece. Thank goodness the owner didn't just toss it out and called us at Maurer Woodshop to help!
The Antiqe Kitchen Hutch Below was dated back to about 1900. This oak antique piece has had a rough time, and even got caught in a flood. A few of the roll top pieces were broke or missing, and the scroll work on the bottom of the cabinet was missing altogether! Maurer Woodshop was able to repair the piece to like new condition!

The doors below are from a set of Kraftmaid Upscale Kitchen Cabinets. The problem was the finish began peeling off! The customer called Kraftmaid and was told the door styles were dis-continued. She called Maurer Woodshop and we were able to refinish the doors, better than new! (Maurer Woodshop's finish won't fail!)

The desk below was found in a customers barn. The desk is solid Mahogany, and needed only minor repairs and a strip and re-finish. Some new drawer pulls, and it looks new again!
