Woodworking skills must run in the family! Above, Clint's daughter, Macanda, and her friend Maddie work on building a bridge as part of a school project. Most students begged to be Macanda's partner when they found out her dad owns a woodshop!

Clint's sons, and future Maurer Woodshop employees, Donovon and his younger brother Camaran, show off their new work shirts, and toy truck they made in the shop!

Maurer Woodshop builds custom kitchen cabinets & fine wood furniture. Everything is built locally by master cabinetmaker Clint Simpson. From selecting the best wood for your project, assembling, sanding and finishing, Clint does it all. Absolutly nothing is subcontracted out. This ensure's that Clint's high quality standards will be met, and your project will far exceed your expectations.

There is a big difference between cabinets and furniture from Maurer Woodshop, and other companies. First off, Maurer Woodshop will not use particle board, PERIOD. If you look closely at cabinets and furniture from other sources, you'll see they are constructed out of 1/2" particle boards, then glued and stapled together. At Maurer Woodshop, clint uses 3/4" top quality lumber and woodworking techniques to ensure your project will stand the test of time.

The way Maurer Woodshop assembles their projects is a true testimate to their devotion to doing things the right way. You'll find a lot of shops resort to using glue, then nails and staples to assemble their projects. Why? Because it is quicker and saves them time. But, being quicker isn't always the best option. At Maurer Woodshop, our projects are glued and clamped together. This is the proper way of assembling cabinets and furniture. The problem with using staples and nails is no matter how well you try to fill the holes, they will ultimatly end up showing through the finish at the end. If not right away, eventually the nail holes will show through. This is just another reason why Maurer Woodshop's cabinets and furniture are a better choice!
